Commercial Engineer
Are you a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer ready for your next challenge? At Gasway, we’re looking for a Commercial Engineer to join our team. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll:
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective servicing, maintenance, and repairs across commercial and sheltered housing properties
- Ensure full compliance with Gas Safe and OFTEC regulations
- Issue safety certificates and maintain accurate service records
- Manage stock levels efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers
- Take part in an on-call rota, providing essential emergency support when it’s needed most
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a team environment:
Essential:
- Commercial gas qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, COCATA1, CDGA1, CIGA1)
- Proven experience servicing and repairing commercial gas systems
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Domestic gas qualifications
- OFTEC (oil) qualifications
- Experience with renewable technologies
You’ll also bring:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and under pressure
- Confidence using IT systems
- A solid understanding of health & safety standards
